Tuber Magnatum Pico
(white truffle)

Commonly called Pico, white truffles, unlike other varieties should be eaten raw, cut into very thin slices using a kitchen slicer. A perfect combination with simple foods such as egg or more complex ones such as a good veal, beef, chicken or hen broth. Butter plays a very important role in the preparation of the white truffle, enhancing and capturing the scents and natural flavors.
